Several times Donatello presented as a stand-in for host Rens de Jong the RTL-Z Live Talkshow called Friday Afternoon, and the successor of Z in Zaken.

As a communication specialist Donatello provides regular analyses and comments on speeches, debates and campaigns. He followed various election campaigns closely, for instance, and blogged regularly for various media such as NPO Radio1, BNR, WNL, 1Vandaag, Volkskrant, NRC, Communicatie Online and more.

Donatello grew up bilingually in the Netherlands. His Italian background made sure that he did not only follow the news in the Netherlands but he also monitors the political and social developments in Italy. Particularly during the 2012 election campaigns, where he blogged for both BKB and the Dutch Debate Institute. He visits Italy on a regular basis, and acts as analyst for BNR and NPO Radio 1.

Donatello is the author of the management bestseller entited "Debating to win, the art of pursuasion". Together with his debate institute colleagues Roderik van Grieken and Arthur Noordhuis he wrote the book in 2011 to help the professional to be more convincing. Meanwhile many thousands of copies were sold, and for the revised version Donatello wrote a brandnew chapter on Framing.
